Colossi of Memnon

The Colossi of Memnon were erected by Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350 BC) in Cairo and later relocated to stand at the entrance of Luxor. Each colossal statue towers at 18 meters (60 feet) and weighs an impressive 720 tons. The unique double temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile god, is situated on the banks of the Nile and was constructed during the Greco-Roman period between 205 BC and 180 BC. After your visit, return to the cruise and continue sailing to Aswan, where you will spend the night onboard.

Awesome experience - the Nile is so beautiful and highly recommended. Food was much better than expected for an all inclusive especially at such a decent rate. Service was really great overall and especially enjoyed our groups tour guide, Hady.
